Free Medical Camp Held at Prashanti Old Age Homes

Prashanti Old Age Homes, 17 September 2026:

Under the guidance of Dr. Purna Chandra Sahu, Chairperson & Founder of Bharatiya Human Rights Council (BHRC), a Free Medical Camp was organized at Prashanti Old Age Homes on Thursday by the Bharatiya Human Rights Council (BHRC) in association with Hariprasad Kidney Centre.

During the medical camp, free health check-ups were conducted for the elderly residents of the old age home. Their health conditions were assessed, and necessary medical advice and health awareness guidance were provided.

Special awareness was given regarding kidney health, blood pressure, diabetes, and other common health-related issues among elderly persons.

On this occasion, Dr. Prabhu provided medical consultation and services to the residents. P.N. Manisharma, State President of the Women’s Wing of BHRC, attended the medical camp, interacted with the elderly residents, and enquired about their health and well-being.

Krishna, Durga, Maunika, along with other staff members and volunteers, participated in the organization and management of the medical camp and extended necessary assistance to the elderly residents.

The organizers stated that the main objective of the initiative was to provide accessible healthcare services to elderly persons, identify health concerns at an early stage, and provide appropriate medical guidance and health awareness.

Speaking on the importance of such initiatives, Dr. Purna Chandra Sahu, Chairperson & Founder, Bharatiya Human Rights Council (BHRC), emphasized the importance of extending humanitarian and healthcare support to elderly and vulnerable persons. BHRC will continue to undertake such social service and human welfare initiatives in the future.

The joint initiative of Bharatiya Human Rights Council (BHRC) and Hariprasad Kidney Centre provided valuable medical services and health awareness to the elderly residents of Prashanti Old Age Homes.
