Human Rights are the rights relating to life, liberty, equality, and dignity of the individual. The
Council is responsible for spreading human rights awareness amongst
the masses and encouraging the efforts of all stakeholders in the field
of human rights literacy not only at the state level but at the national
level too. India looks at BHRC as a role model in promoting and
monitoring effective implementation of promotion and protection of human
rights.
Volunteer Agreement
Purpose: This agreement aims to establish the terms and
conditions of the relationship between the Bharatiya Human Rights Council (BHRC) for volunteer services provided to the trust.
Volunteer Services:
The volunteer will provide services to the trust as described in the
volunteer job description provided by the trust.
Term: This
agreement will remain in effect from [start date] to [end
date] unless terminated earlier by either party with reasonable notice.
Responsibilities
of Volunteer: The volunteer agrees to perform the duties assigned by
the trust to the best of their ability and by the
trust's policies and procedures. The volunteer also agrees to maintain
confidentiality regarding any confidential information they may come
across while volunteering for the trust.
Responsibilities of
Trust: The trust agrees to provide the volunteer with orientation,
training, and support as necessary to perform the duties assigned. The
trust also agrees to provide a safe and healthy work environment for the
volunteer.
Insurance: The volunteer acknowledges that they are
not covered under the trust's insurance policies and that it is their
responsibility to maintain their insurance coverage.
Termination:
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time with reasonable
notice. The volunteer agrees to return any trust property in their
possession upon termination of this agreement.
Governing Law: This agreement will be governed by and construed under the laws of India.
Entire
Agreement: This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the
parties and supersedes all prior understandings or agreements, whether
written or oral, concerning the subject matter of this agreement.
